  • Screen Resolution should be 4K. 8K contents are not available yet and 1080p is a thing of past.
  • Screen Size. Consider how many people will be viewing and the size of room. When it comes to screen size, generally the bigger the better but if the viewing distance is less and TV is large, you will not be able to see the complete screen at one. Here is a size chart to help.

  • Refresh frequency should be 120Hz or higher. Lower frequency makes the video sluggish. 120Hz or high will make the view smooth.
  • Go for HDR. Preferably Dolby Vision over HDR10 standard. HDR delivers more colors, better contrast levels and brighter images
  • Go for OLED if you have the budget else IPS LED is also good. OLED products much better images with perfect black color but they are costly. LED TVs are more popular. You compromise on image quality, but they deliver the most value of money. Go for IPS display with LED as IPS=Good viewing angle.
